Anthropic Replaced Git with Scion: Source Control Built for AI-Agent Volume
Anthropic says its monorepo went from about 2,500 merges a day in May 2026 to over 30,000 in September, and Git stopped fitting. Its replacement, Scion, assumes clients that are always online.
